| BY AIR - If traveling by air the nearest Airports are at Bergerac, Limoges and Bordeaux, all are about 45 minutes from Bertric Buree, we can arrange transportation from the airport or you can hire a car there for a reasonable rate. BY TRAIN - Trains now run regularly from London (Waterloo) via Folkstone to Paris or Lille. So if you are coming from the UK this can be one of the best methods of traveling. Simply change trains in Paris and board the super fast TGV service which will take you Angouleme in about 3 hours,or 5 hours from lille. Angouleme is about 45 minutes from us, again we can arrange transportation from the station. BY CAR - If you are a traveler who likes the open road (and France has thousands of kilometres of them) and loves to explore the countryside en-route, then this is surely the most rewarding way of traveling. The fastest route is by using the Channel Tunnel to Calais and then joining the motorways (Auto routes/Paege). Alternatively take the ferry from Dover to Calais or the longer Portsmouth to Le Harve route. Once in France if you wish to take a more scenic and cost effective route (as motorways charge a toll) take a look at the Directions below. It is the route we recommend to all our guests arriving by car who are in no hurry to get here.
